🐾✨ REMINDER! ✨🐾

Hey, Crain families! Don’t forget that Open House is September 15th! 📚

🚗 We’ll also have hooks for $1 each so you can hang your sign from your rearview mirror!

We can’t wait to see y’all at Open House! 🐾

📚 Crain PTO is excited to introduce Helper Fridays! 📚

Helper Fridays are a wonderful opportunity for parents and guardians to get involved at Crain Elementary by volunteering their time to assist our school staff in the front office and with various school projects.

When: Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month
Volunteers: Up to 3 volunteers per Friday
Standard Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

If 10:00 AM–12:00 PM does not work for you, that’s okay! When signing up, please leave a comment with the time you are available to volunteer. Volunteer hours must take place during regular school hours so we can coordinate with the front office.

What might you help with?
Some of the tasks during Helper Fridays may include:

* Making copies
* Laminating materials
* Sorting and organizing papers
* Helping decorate for upcoming school events
* Assisting with other projects as needed

Volunteer Approval Required:
All volunteers must complete and receive approval for a VISD Volunteer Application before volunteering at the school. The application can be found on the VISD website by searching “VISD Volunteer Application.”

💙 Why volunteer?
Your time makes a difference! Volunteering gives parents and guardians an opportunity to support our teachers and staff, contribute to a positive school environment, and be more involved in their child’s school experience. Even a couple of hours can make a meaningful impact and help our school community thrive.

We hope you’ll consider joining us for a Helper Friday! We’d love to have you! 🐾

⏰ Horario habitual: 10:00 a. m. – 12:00 p. m.

🐾 Our first PTO meeting was a success! 🐾

We were so excited to see such a great turnout for our very first meeting! We had the largest group of parents and guardians we’ve had at a meeting, and we could not be more excited for the year ahead! Thank you to everyone who came out, shared ideas, and showed your support. 🎉

We also apologize for the confusion about the meeting location and appreciate everyone’s patience with us! We’ll make sure those details are clearer moving forward.

Don’t forget to share our page with fellow Crain parents, guardians, family, and friends so they can stay up to date with everything PTO! 📣

Here’s to a great year, Cougars! 🐾🎉
