Good views, good drinks, and even better company! Last week, the Interplan team enjoyed our annual summer outing with an afternoon on the water, followed by cocktails at Nick’s Riverside. It was a fun chance to step away from the office, spend time together, and celebrate Tamiko on completing and passing her licensing exams. Big congratulations to Tamiko on this well-earned milestone!

The sensory experience of a space is shaped by subtle cues that influence how people respond to their surroundings. When lighting, acoustics, materials, and color are considered together, they help create environments that feel purposeful, supportive, and connected to the people who use them.

For many patients, community health clinics are a primary connection to the healthcare system, making the design of these spaces especially important.
In our latest post, we look at how thoughtful design can shape the experience from the moment patients arrive through the way care is delivered. We also explore how planning decisions can support accessibility, dignity, staff efficiency, and long-term adaptability while helping clinics make responsible choices that align with their mission.
