My goodness look at those Triggers, up to 5 lbs, 28 of them, and 3 more award winning Citations for the crew.
So, the Black Sea Bass bite was hot as well, finishing up with a full boat limit of Jumbo Bass.
Sea conditions were RRRannkk, we muscled the Why Knot Charters Regulator through it patiently, and made it to an often fished and popular wreck and couldn’t get a bait to the bottom. I guess you never know!!
Awesome crew and some good fisherman made our work easy, Kenny and I tried our best to keep up! I have a large number of Triggerfish savvy anglers and chefs, well it’s in and will only get better.

The boys and gal beat up on them today. We had a full boat limit of Jumbo Bass and a dozen Triggerfish and topping it off with 4 Triggers that qualified for a Virginia Trophy fish Citation, way to go Russ and Bill.
It just gets better from this point.
Beautifully executed “beat down” with beautiful weather and sea conditions.

Today’s Super Saver Sea Bass Walk On was a big success, thanks to these anglers who jumped on at the last minute.
We braved some stinky sea conditions offshore to find the short sea bass on fire…..where the h!&@ did the jumbos go?
After bumping around…. wrecks, live bottom, rocks….nope. Well it turned out that we found them eventually and quite a few triggers on ……….., sorry that’s confidential 🤫

Today’s walk on was another easy limit of Black Sea Bass, they are thick and my crew made short work of a nice box full.
Off to the flounder grounds and it was a slower pick, a few lost fish, a few that didn’t come tight, and a few for dinner, little slower than we expected, still a fun day.
Today was a good freezer filler and since it’s goin to blow over the weekend, tomorrow is a good chance to get yours.

Today’s crew boxed up some of the biggest Black Sea Bass of the year.
Drop and swing fishing for all of 1 1/2 hours this morning and they were all Jumbos. Triggers and a few Flounder made up the rest of the day. My crew will be awarded 2 Trophy Citations for the Sea Bass and 5 others missing the mark by ounces. Beautiful sea conditions, great company and red hot fishing.
WOW, how lucky we all were today.

Next bass trip is open for Friday October 2nd.
