This page is for the ones in recovery. ❤️🩹
The ones healing from injury, illness, or neglect, who need a little more time and a lot more care.
Here, we’ll share deeper, ongoing updates as they move through treatment and toward a second chance.

Update on Denji 💜
Denji is recovering beautifully after his amputation and is doing great in his foster home. ❤️🩹 We’re so happy we were able to help get him through this and give him the chance to move forward feeling so much better.
Thank you again to everyone who donated toward his care and helped us cover the cost of his treatment. We truly appreciate every bit of support. 🧡

Update on Denji 💜
Denji had his amputation today, and since he was already under anesthesia, we were also able to get him neutered. He’s now recovering in a foster home. ❤️🩹
Thank you so much to everyone who donated toward his care. Because of your generosity, we were able to cover the full cost of his amputation.
We truly appreciate every single person who helped make that possible for him. 🧡

❤️🩹 UPDATE ON MISCHIEF! ❤️🩹
We’re so happy to report that Mischief beat parvo and is officially back to being a normal, happy puppy! 🥹❤️
After everything this little guy went through, seeing him feeling good, playing, eating, and just getting to be a puppy again is the update we’ve been hoping for.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated toward his care, kept him in your thoughts and prayers, and rooted for him along the way. We truly appreciate every bit of support you gave Mischief. ❤️
For now, we’re making sure he has the time he needs to fully put parvo behind him and get everything squared away so that when the time is right, he’ll be ready for adoption.
Mischief has his whole life ahead of him now, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. 🐾❤️

⚠️ GRAPHIC PHOTOS — DONATIONS & FOSTER NEEDED FOR DENJI ⚠️
Meet Denji. ❤️🩹
We recently agreed to take in this little guy after he came into a shelter with a badly injured leg. The first pictures show what his leg looked like when he originally came in.
Unfortunately, while waiting to come to us, things got much worse. 😥
Despite being on pain and anti-inflammatory medication, Denji was in so much pain that he literally chewed off his own toes. The after pictures show what his foot looks like now, with exposed tissue and bone.
We know the pictures are graphic and difficult to look at, but we wanted to show the reality of what has happened to Denji and just how badly he needs help. 💔
Denji will be arriving to us late Wednesday, and first thing Thursday morning, he’ll be having surgery to amputate his leg.
We’re asking for help covering the cost of his surgery and medical care. If you’re able to donate, every amount helps. ❤️
We also really need a foster for Denji so he has somewhere comfortable to recover after his amputation. We provide all supplies and cover all veterinary care. If you can foster him, please email [email protected]. 🙏🏻
He’s already been through enough. We just want to get him out of pain, get him healed, and let him be a kitten again. ❤️🩹🐾

A few days ago, three puppies came to us from a shelter in Virginia, and by the following morning it was clear that something was very wrong. All three puppies tested positive for parvo. 😞
We immediately began doing everything we could to give them a fighting chance. They were taken to the vet, received monoclonal antibody treatment, medications, fluids, syringe feedings, and supportive care.
Sadly, despite everything that was done, we lost two of those sweet babies.
Mischief Morales is the only puppy remaining, and today we are so thankful to be able to share some good news. ❤️🩹
As of today, Mischief is doing well. He is eating, continuing his medications and treatment, and we are also happy to report that we found him a foster home where he can get the individual care and attention he needs while he recovers.
We know that with parvo, things can change quickly, so we are still taking everything day by day, but seeing him eating and continuing to fight gives us so much hope.
Please continue to keep Mischief in your prayers as he works toward a full recovery. ❤️
Between the vet visits, monoclonal antibody treatment, medications, fluids, and continued care, the cost of treating parvo adds up quickly. If you are able to make a donation toward Mischief’s care, every dollar helps us continue giving him everything he needs to recover.
Keep fighting, Mischief. We are all rooting for you. ❤️
