💧This week’s testing covered 10 local beach sites for enterococcus, and all 10 came back with an indication of low bacteria.

The Trump Administration today issued an executive order repealing Executive Order 13508, a 2009 order that established a framework for federal leadership and coordination on Chesapeake Bay restoration.
This could weaken the federal-state partnership that has helped drive decades of Bay restoration progress.

🌊🌎ECSC weekend was a whole lot of waves, good vibes, and trash grabs.
Big thanks to everyone who stopped by and got dirty with us for a cleanup! We even had one of our own enter Mr. ECSC on behalf of the chapter, while Vic took the mic to spread the word about what we do and how to join the cause.
Good times. Good people. Cleaner beaches.

🌊 🌎Join Surfrider Foundation Virginia for the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup!
