Happy hot chocolate season, friends! βοΈ
May your mug be full, your cream piled high, and your evenings cozy and slow. π€π
A slow and cozy little life. π
This October, I choose a softer, slower life. One where, even if I cannot stop time, I can pause long enough to enjoy the little moments, notice the little joys, and gather them quietly in my heart, creating memories to look back on when the days have passed.π€

Weekends require a little something extra for afternoon tea, donβt you think? π€βοΈ
As the leaves slowly begin to turn, Iβm enjoying this soft transition into autumn one cup at a time. I was craving some tender little scones, so I made a batch of tiny ones to enjoy with our afternoon tea. π
Happy weekend, friends. I hope yours holds a little sweetness too.π€
Softly into Octoberππ€
A little goodbye to September morningsππ€
Thereβs something so beautiful about golden light falling against blue. It feels like a soft transition into autumn, much like nature itself, as the deep greens slowly begin to turn golden.
Slow mornings feel a little softer when the colors around you are soft and warm. We live so many of our little mornings here, as you can see, and these beautiful drapes from TWOPAGES have made our bedroom feel even more like a place to slow down and linger. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are just beautiful. π€
Breakfast in the Autumn Air π
Thereβs something about having breakfast outside on a crisp September morning. The colors of the trees dancing above the fallen leaves, the sound of the stream, the wind moving through the changing leaves, the birds singing, and the gentle sound of tea being poured. π«
Sometimes I get so used to these slow morning breakfasts that I forget to stop and truly savor them. And then I remind myself how special these little moments really are.
Does this happen to you sometimes, too? π€
Autumn feelings in September mornings.
When Autumn Feels Like Hobbit Season ππ
The Gentle Season π
The light turns golden, the air grows crisp, and thereβs a certain feeling that comes with this time of year thatβs hard to put into words. Maybe itβs nostalgia, or the quiet melancholy of watching one season slowly give way to another.
Autumn somehow feels like both an ending and a beginning. A season of letting go, gathering what weβve grown, and making room for whatβs next. And perhaps thatβs what makes it feel so gentle. π€
