Processing pain and forgiving others is a choice, not just a feeling. Even when it feels impossible, surrendering to a higher power can lead you closer to healing.

I handed a flyer to Mike Darby's daughter, and she brought her mom. I thought, 'My God, I've out-punted my coverage.' I prayed, 'Empty me of me, fill me with you.' Whatever I said that night touched her. Over 4 years, through prayer and hand-holding, I learned that you must hold the hand of the wounded to lead them to forgiveness. Once they forgive, they meet Jesus Christ deeper.

Meeting Ormon in prison changed everything. After 35 years behind bars, his joy and happiness were infectious. He reminded me that true contentment comes from within, no matter the circumstances.
