Cody was an avid team roper who was diagnosed with a rare Bone Cancer and lost his battle in July of 2020. We are starting a foundation in his memory.
Cody gave his wishes to us to help others going through what he went through. The proceeds from the team roping will be used for the Cody Nessmith Memorial Foundation. The foundation will be geared towards but not limited to kids in the rodeo community that are battling cancer and other illnesses. 7 year old Boston Pace loves the outdoors. Whether he's on the baseball field, hunting, or at a rodeo, he's happiest spending time with his family. He's also a proud big brother to Moxon and Stratton.
Boston was recently diagnosed with diffuse midline glioma. Next week, he will begin six weeks of radiation treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. After radiation is complete, his family hopes additional treatment options will become available.
The Cody NesSmith Memorial Team Roping Foundation is grateful to stand alongside the Pace family during this season. Because of your support, we're able to help ease some of the burdens families face so they can focus on what matters most.
Please keep Boston, his family, and his medical team in your prayers. Together, we can continue giving hope to families when they need it most.
