Her leadership has been rooted in care, connection, and an unwavering belief in every First in Line student. She has helped build more than a program, she has helped cultivate a community where students are seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
As Michelle steps into her new role with Waco Family Medicine, we are excited for the continued impact she will make, while also being deeply grateful for all she has poured into First in Line.

Here’s some important days we think you should mark your calendar for! 📆
1. Graduation. We have so many amazing First in Line students who are graduating, and we are so proud of you!
2. The best start the an amazing year! The FILSA academy!! A great bonding moment between peer leaders and our new students to Baylor.
3. First Gen Day on campus! This coming up year will be our THIRD First Gen celebration! 🎉
4. Ms. Michelle’s birthday. We as First Gen students owe so much to the woman behind it all, so we can all say a happy birthday to her. 💚
5. First Gen Banquet. Girls put on your best dresses and boys bring out the slacks, cause it’s award time!
