Project Lifeforce Summer Reading Camp is off to an incredible start! Over the past two weeks, our students have been learning, growing, building confidence, and discovering the joy of reading together. Each day has been filled with exciting stories, positive affirmations, new friendships, and opportunities to strengthen reading skills while encouraging one another.
This year's Reading Camp theme is AFFIRMATIONS, reminding our students that their words have power and that they are capable, confident, kind, and successful learners. We are so thankful for everyone who has joined us on this special learning journey!
A very special thank you goes to our wonderful Story Time Readers, Mrs. Vaughn and Mrs. Scott. Mrs. Vaughn dedicated more than 30 years to educating young minds, and her daughter, Mrs. Scott, is proudly serving in her 24th year of teaching. What a beautiful and inspiring legacy of love, learning, and service they share!
Our students truly enjoyed listening to their stories and experiencing the passion they both have for education. The warmth, wisdom, and encouragement they brought to Reading Camp made a lasting impact on every child in attendance.

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to keep your child learning this summer?
Join us at Project Lifeforce Reading Camp, where students will build confidence, strengthen reading skills, make new friends, and prepare for a successful school year ahead!
Our camp is designed to help prevent the "summer slide" by improving reading retention through engaging activities, peer-to-peer reading, interactive lessons, games, and encouragement from caring mentors. Students will have opportunities to grow their literacy skills while boosting self-esteem, character, and a love for learning.
