For this week’s , we’re taking a look back at a custom light fixture we created for a restaurant a few years ago.

One of our favorite things is combining our skills in glass and metal to create truly unique pieces. This colorful stained glass fixture was designed to hang above the restaurant’s tables, adding a beautiful touch of color and elegance to the dining experience. 🍽️✨

Today we’re looking back at a special project we designed, crafted, and installed at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas.

The vibrant red door paired with the stained glass creates a bold, beautiful entrance that really stands out. We’re proud of the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into bringing this custom entryway to life!

🕰️✨ THROWBACK TO A SPECIAL PIECE OF STANTON GLASS HISTORY ✨

The Driskill Hotel Lobby Dome is a project we’ll never forget.

Stanton Glass conceived the dome, created a mock-up, and presented the design to the hotel’s owners. They loved it—and wanted it as part of their newly remodeled lobby.

Here’s a fun piece of history: there was never actually a stained glass dome in the Driskill Hotel. The space where it now hangs was originally an open balcony to the fourth floor, allowing for cross ventilation.

We were given just 90 days to design, fabricate, and install the dome in time for the hotel’s grand reopening. We met the deadline with time to spare!

But the best part came on opening day. An octogenarian couple walked across the lobby with their extended family, pointed up at the dome, and told them, “50 years ago we had our wedding photos taken under this dome.”

That moment said it all. ❤️

We had been asked to make the dome look as though it had always been part of the hotel—and apparently, we succeeded.

✨ Throwing it back to a beautiful stained glass restoration at First Presbyterian Church in Galveston, Texas! ✨

The before-and-after photos tell the story—the restored window is noticeably brighter, cleaner, and full of renewed color. Our craftsmen carefully restored the original glass, while the bottom panel was recreated to match the original design and seamlessly complete the piece.

We love seeing the transformation that thoughtful restoration and skilled craftsmanship can bring to historic stained glass. 💙🪟✨

This massive stained glass skylight was created as a faithful replica of the original skylight that once graced the space. Our team carefully recreated the intricate design and craftsmanship of the original, preserving its character while bringing a new piece of history back to life. 🌟

We love projects like this that combine artistry, craftsmanship, and historic preservation to create something that can be admired for generations to come. 💙
