We Feed the Lions!

A HUGE thank you to Jamie Blanek for speaking at We Feed the Lions and pouring words of encouragement into these young men! Your time, heart, and willingness to invest in the Lions means so much.

And THANK YOU to Blanek’s Custom Catering for loving on the Lions and providing their team meal! What a blessing to have people in our community who are willing to step up, serve, and show these young men that they are loved and valued.

We are so thankful for every person and business that helps us feed their bellies, encourage their hearts, and grow the Kingdom!

We Feed the Lions is one of our favorite nights! 🦁❤️

We have truly enjoyed partnering with Carver Park and coming together to make a difference in the lives of these young men. Each time we serve, we have the opportunity to grow the Kingdom and show them that they are seen, valued, and most importantly, loved.

John Merkledove and Coach Love brought words of encouragement, reminding these young men that they have people cheering them on and believing in them!

It is about so much more than a meal. It is about building relationships, sharing the love of Jesus, speaking life into these young men, and reminding them that they are loved.

We are better together, and we can’t wait for the next We Feed the Lions night!

Sunday’s message from Pastor Bryce reminded us to check our hearts and our mindset.

Are we taking time to be quiet and listen to God? Are we approaching Him with the faith and humility of a child? And are our actions drawing people closer to God or pushing them away?

In Matthew 18, Jesus teaches us about humility, forgiveness, and how we should treat one another. He reminds us that He leaves the 99 to go after the 1. No one is too far gone, forgotten, or unworthy of being pursued by our Savior.

We are also reminded to forgive—not just once, but again and again—and to extend the same grace and forgiveness that God has given us.

God created each of us with a purpose. Let’s be people who point others to Jesus, love well, forgive freely, and live in a way that reflects Him.

Let God’s light shine through you!
