Congratulations to our 12u Astros, winners of the Hot Stove Summer Blast tournament this past weekend. This tournament marks their last one together as a team before heading to Cooperstown. Between games, the team was given their buckets, bags, and goodies to prepare for their upcoming trip, which is a culmination of everything they have worked toward during all their years as Astros. We are so proud of them and wish all the families, coaches, and players the best of luck at Cooperstown! LGA ⚾️🧢🏟️

In some very exciting news, former MacArthur and LSW Astros player, JT Raab, was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 2026 MLB draft. LSW would like to send their congratulations and show our young players that anything is possible if you work hard to reach your goals! 💪⚾️

We are almost at the end of our full 3 sessions of baseball summer clinic and also successfully ran a summer softball clinic for the first time. Thank you to all participants as well as the older players who worked the clinic. We love seeing the growth and progress with our young athletes as well as the smiles on their faces.

It was an exciting weekend for our 12u Astros as they won the Sports at the Beach Father’s Day Tournament with a 12-0 win against the Westchester Giants. Congratulations to all! 🥇

🏆We celebrated another great season with our annual Trophy Night! We love seeing all the teams come together to recognize our young players and the smiles on their faces. Thank you to our volunteers who dedicate so much time to the children as well as the families for getting them to where they need to be. Thank you players for continuing to love the game and to our community for your support. 🏆

Yesterday, we held our annual Family Fun Day! The day was full of championship games, bouncy houses, bbq food and fun. Congratulations to the following teams on their wins:
