Connecting Resources, Strengthening the Mission 🤝
Last month, we had the privilege of hosting the 72nd Air Base Wing Helping Agencies and Community Action Team (CAT)!
The visit gave the CAT a firsthand look at our mission, shift schedules, and workforce dynamic while opening up valuable discussions about the everyday challenges faced by our personnel and supervisors. Together, we explored ways to break down barriers, enhance embedded support programs, and deliver vital quality-of-life resources directly to our team.
Stronger connection across Tinker AFB means a more resilient, mission-ready force. Thank you to the 72nd ABW CAT for your continued support!

Big progress happens when the right people work together!
A cross-functional team has moved an innovative engineering-support capability into cloud-based user testing—an important step toward making research faster, easier, and more effective for the workforce. By bringing technical experts, cybersecurity professionals, acquisition specialists, and end users together from the start, the team reduced barriers, accelerated progress, and kept the focus on real mission needs. This milestone shows what is possible when collaboration, transparency, and smart ex*****on come together to deliver meaningful results.

On August 12, the 309 SWEG hosted a highly successful GitLab Ultimate Workshop at Hill AFB, bringing together 57 in-person and virtual attendees for hands-on DevSecOps demonstrations and compliance exercises.
This major step forward was made possible by the Software Directorate, whose strategic coordination secured unified GitLab licenses. By transitioning away from fragmented vendor tools to a single, powerful platform, our development teams now have access to superior capabilities, continuous education, and standardized workflows.
Ultimately, streamlining our pipelines allows us to drastically reduce cycle times—getting critical, secure capabilities to the warfighter faster than ever.
And, as the saying goes... if you don’t have a picture, it didn’t happen! 📸
