Transfigured Church
Transfigured Church Affectionately called at times the "dojo church", Transfigured Church utilizes a "Micro Church" concept.
We are leaning into the advantages of the small-intimate church model, where community, discipling, and relationships can grow in an authentic environment without pretenses. We want to help you learn how to overcome life's challenges using proven ancient Christian practices. We will help you push past your "dirt" nature to re-discover your divine nature. Our mission is to transfigure individuals, families, and our region with the love of Christ. We are a liturgical church with a modern contemporary charismatic expression. We are part of the United Holy Caribbean Apostolic Church, our essential doctrines are found in the Nicene Creed
What if wisdom is more than having the right answer?
This Sunday’s message, “Teach Me Thy Ways, O Lord,” reminded us that following Jesus is not a one-time arrival—it is a daily process of learning His ways. We all need God to work on the parts of us that no title, talent, or amount of knowledge can fix: our hearts, motives, habits, and responses.
Psalm 86:11 gives us a simple prayer for the week: “Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth.”
God can teach us through work, relationships, school, disappointment, success, and even the situations we did not choose. The question is whether we are willing to slow down and ask, “Lord, what do You want me to learn from this?”
May we seek wisdom with humility, let God do the inside work, and filter every part of life through His Word.

WHAT TABLE ARE YOU TRYING TO GET INTO?
There’s something about tables.
As children, we wanted to move from the kids’ table to the “big kids’ table.”
In school, we wanted to sit with the popular crowd.
As adults, the tables change—but the desire doesn't.
We want access.
We want recognition.
We want to be seen with the right people.
We want the invitation to the room where important decisions are being made.
But Jesus gives us a different picture.
At the Last Supper, Jesus sat down with ordinary, flawed disciples—and then He washed their feet.
The One who deserved the highest seat took the position of a servant.
That should change how we think about maturity.
Real maturity isn't simply getting a better seat. Sometimes it's becoming willing to serve from the seat you already have.
And here's the really good news:
You don't have to earn your place at Christ's table.
Peter didn't.
Thomas didn't.
Matthew didn't.
And neither do you.
God has not disqualified you.
Your failures don't surprise Him. Your struggles don't make Him regret inviting you. Your past doesn't cancel His grace.
But grace isn't an excuse to stay the same.
Christ welcomes us as we are—and calls us to follow Him.
So here's the question:
What earthly table are you working so hard to be accepted at that you may be neglecting the table of the Lord?
That's the table worth pursuing.
You have a seat at His table.
