It's National Foster a Pet Month!
All month long, our partners Hartz Loving Paws and Greater Good Charities are encouraging animal lovers to make a difference for shelter pets.
Through Humane Rescue Alliance's Field Trip Program, you can take a shelter dog out for a few hours of fun, adventure, and one-on-one attention. Whether it's a walk in the park, a trip for a pup cup, or simply exploring the city together, your outing helps dogs relax, build confidence, and show off their personalities.
We guarantee you'll have so much fun and will definitely make a new friend too!

🖤❤️💚 HRA will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth is a day to celebrate freedom, honor resilience, and reflect on the ongoing journey toward equity and justice. It is also an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the strength, contributions, and history of Black communities.
As we pause to observe this important day, we encourage our community to take time to learn, reflect, celebrate, and connect.
Our facilities will reopen with normal operating hours on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
