Who’s ready to get down, NOLA style? 🎉🎭🎺

Mardi Gras is coming early to Washington, DC! The Krewe Pyros Mardi Gras Parade & Fiyah Festival will fill downtown DC with colorful floats, marching bands and brass bands from DC and Louisiana. 🥁

After the parade, the celebration will continue at the official Krewe of Pyros Fiyah Festival at Anthem Row from 12–6 PM, featuring New Orleans legend Mannie Figgie Fresh. 🔥

Making history, breaking barriers, changing the game ✨💪🏽

The Black Women In Sports exhibition, presented by Diverse Representation at 11:Eleven Gallery in Washington, DC, opened Wednesday, July 29 and is on view until Saturday, Aug. 1 from 11:00 AM-6:30 PM with free entry to the public.

With over 20 works, featured photographers and artists explore the power, beauty and athleticism of Black women in sports, from surfing and tennis, to gymnastics and basketball.

Events DC is proud to partner alongside Andscape (ESPN) and MorganAndscape Global Sports and Entertainment to bring this incredible exhibition to life.
