It’s “𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐲,” and we were delighted to welcome Dario and Alessio Laraia, sons of AM Executive Secretary Luigi Laraia, along with their friend Joao Samso Waltrick, to the World Bank Inspection Panel office.

Dario, Alessio, and Joao shared their day’s activities and asked thoughtful questions about the Panel’s work. We were especially impressed by how quickly they grasped what we do and articulated it in their own words.

In the afternoon, Sylvia Bonareri Omboga Mwangi from the Bank’s Treasury visited with her children, Hailey and Jeremy. They watched a Panel documentary on a case we investigated and asked the Panel Chairperson, Ibrahim Pam, insightful questions about our process and staff backgrounds in the accountability field.

It was indeed a pleasure to host them and a great reminder of the bright future ahead!
