Itโs โ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ค ๐๐๐ฒ,โ and we were delighted to welcome Dario and Alessio Laraia, sons of AM Executive Secretary Luigi Laraia, along with their friend Joao Samso Waltrick, to the World Bank Inspection Panel office.
Dario, Alessio, and Joao shared their dayโs activities and asked thoughtful questions about the Panelโs work. We were especially impressed by how quickly they grasped what we do and articulated it in their own words.
In the afternoon, Sylvia Bonareri Omboga Mwangi from the Bankโs Treasury visited with her children, Hailey and Jeremy. They watched a Panel documentary on a case we investigated and asked the Panel Chairperson, Ibrahim Pam, insightful questions about our process and staff backgrounds in the accountability field.
It was indeed a pleasure to host them and a great reminder of the bright future ahead!
