Tavite Lopeti | Centre | USA Eagles

Coming off an outstanding 2026 MLR campaign with the Chicago Hounds, Lopeti played a key role in a historic season that ended with Chicago being crowned Major League Rugby Champions.

Then last weekend against Japan, he produced a moment that summed up exactly what he brings.

With the Eagles attacking inside the Japanese 22, Lopeti powered through around 10 metres of contact, staying on his feet and fighting through multiple defenders to score a brilliant individual try. World Rugby described the score as Lopeti showing “remarkable strength” to work his way past several Japanese defenders.

Power. Footwork. Relentless intent.
