Joy is Assistant Conductor and Pianist at Washington National Opera and has performed in recital at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the White House, and the Kennedy Center. Her recent highlights include performances with soprano Renée Fleming and mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves. This weekend, she joins soprano Laura Corina Sanders and tenor Jason Garcia-Kakuk for two FREE performances:

Hailed for her “honeyed soprano” and “sweet amber tone” by Classical Voice North America, Laura has performed with Opera Baltimore, Central City Opera, Minnesota Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, and more. She is also a First Prize winner of the Lotte Lenya Competition. This weekend, she joins tenor Jason Garcia-Kakuk and pianist Joy Schreier for two FREE performances:

A native of Queenstown, Maryland, Jason has recently appeared as a Renée Fleming Artist at the Aspen Music Festival and has also performed with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Finger Lakes Opera, Opera Baltimore, and the Buffalo Philharmonic. The Post highlights our October 24 season opener as part of its roundup of the fall’s best classical music, recognizing the rare opportunity to hear Haydn’s "Armida" live.
