Earlier this spring Poet-athletes from Shirley Chisholm SC had the opportunity to participate in a pre-season practice with players from Georgetown Universities Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams. ⚽🩶
A huge thank you to both teams for spending time with our students, sharing your skills, and inspiring the next generation!
What a day at Audi Field Poet-athletes ran clinics with Washington Spirit pros, served as ball kids, and walked out for the Congressional Soccer Match. Oh yeah, and CVS Health is donating 100 tickets to the 2026 NWSL Championship presented by Google Pixel — to DC SCORES!! See y’all there 🙌
