The strongest people among us feel the most alone.

We see the uniform. We see the badge. We see the service.

We don't see the weight they carry when the shift ends, or when the house gets quiet.

Check on your strong folks today.

We are reminded of those Airborne Veterans who rally and yell "Currahee!" Meaning 'Stands Alone.' One airborne veteran we know would say, "We stand alone, TOGETHER."

In our SKY Resilience workshop, we breathe alone, together 🌬️

What if one of the most important things we could listen to isn't just the world around us—but this present moment?

When we slow down and truly listen, we notice the birds singing, the laughter of a loved one, the rhythm of our own breath, and even the quiet wisdom within ourselves. Presence begins with listening.

Life is full of fascinating reminders like this—special days, simple practices, and timeless wisdom that can help us become more resilient, mindful, and connected.

If you enjoy discovering meaningful tidbits like this while learning practical tools to reduce stress, increase resilience, and live more fully in the present, We'd love for you to join us at an upcoming SKY Resilience Workshop.

Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give ourselves is to simply... listen. 💙

There are many days before, during, and after the wars that lead to the dates remembered as a nation. 🇺🇸

16 JULY 1779
BATTLE OF STONY POINT [AMERICAN REVOLUTION]

On the night of 16 July 1779, the Continental Army achieved one of its most celebrated victories during the American Revolution at the Battle of Stony Point.

Under the command of Brigadier General Anthony Wayne, 1,500 American Infantrymen of the elite “Corps of Light Infantry” launched a surprise nighttime assault against a heavily fortified British position overlooking the Hudson River some 30 miles north of New York City. To maintain complete surprise, Wayne ordered his men to unload their muskets and rely solely on bayonets. Divided into multiple assault columns, the Americans silently crossed marshy ground, overcame defensive obstacles, and stormed the fort in less than an hour. The British garrison surrendered after fierce hand-to-hand fighting, with more than 500 prisoners captured.

Although the Americans later abandoned the position because it was difficult to defend, the victory demonstrated the growing discipline and professionalism of the Continental Army. Congress honored Wayne with the Congressional Gold Medal (3rd awarded in history), and the success provided a significant boost to American morale during a critical stage of the Revolutionary War.

Stop by the National Infantry Museum today to learn more about the Continental Army during the American Revolution as we celebrate our Nation’s 250th birthday this year!

Sleep isn't a luxury—it's a critical part of healing.

Research consistently shows that many veterans struggle with sleep due to stress, trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, and the lasting effects of military service. Poor sleep doesn't just leave you feeling tired. It can affect memory, focus, emotional regulation, physical health, and overall quality of life.

Trouble sleeping? Give these tips a try and join our upcoming SKY Resilience Workshop, where we introduce you to our evidence based practice that has been linked to improved sleeping 😴 www.PWHT.org
