Want to help? We’re accepting donations of school supplies, backpacks, and gently used books through August 22 at any Union Kitchen drop-off location.

Last night’s devastating fire destroyed the Demetro family’s home, forcing them to evacuate with little more than the clothes on their backs. In a matter of moments, the family lost cherished belongings, treasured memories, and the place they called home.

The Demetro family, including an infant and two elementary school-aged children, now faces the difficult task of rebuilding their lives. As they navigate this challenging time, they are in urgent need of community support.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help provide essential items, temporary housing assistance, and support for the family’s immediate needs. Thank you for keeping the Demetro family in your thoughts and for helping them begin the road to recovery.
