Giving back is better together.

At Thrive DC, volunteers play an important role in helping us support our neighbors experiencing housing instability, food insecurity, and economic crisis. From preparing and serving meals to supporting our food pantry, organizing donations, and more, there are plenty of ways to make a meaningful difference.

☀️ One summer. Countless helping hands. 🤝

This summer, our dining room was filled with more than meals—it was filled with compassion, laughter, and the incredible energy of so many SERVE Camp groups. Serve Camp

We’re beyond grateful for your consistent dedication to lending a hand to those we serve this summer.

Help us stock up on our most-needed items! 💙

Right now, we’re especially in need of:
🧦 Socks • 👖 Men’s pants (30–36) • 🧢 Baseball caps • 👔 Men’s belts

We’re also using 550+ paper plates, cups, and sets of cutlery every week, so those are always in high demand.

If you can, shop our Amazon Wishlist to send supplies directly to us—every donation goes straight to serving our community.

We had a wonderful time with The Nationwide Group last week as they helped us with food distribution during our weekly pantry. ❤️

They spent their morning serving our community with kindness, compassion, and willing hands, helping us provide food and support to so many families. We are so grateful for their time, generosity, and heart for giving back. Thank you to The Nationwide Group for making a difference with us! 🥫✨

So incredibly thankful for YSOP for dedicating so much of their summer to serving our community. Each group brings a new and unique energy to breakfast each morning, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support and commitment to service.

Thank you to Unity, the MSE Foundation, and the Leonsis Family for this incredible investment in our community. 💙

Last week, in addition to presenting Thrive DC with a $10,000 donation, the Unity team rolled up their sleeves and spent the day organizing and packing hygiene products that will be distributed to members of our community.

From hands-on service to generous support, their commitment helps ensure that adults facing housing instability have access to essential resources, compassionate care, and opportunities to move from surviving to thriving.

We're so grateful for partners who show up in so many meaningful ways. Thank you for being part of the Thrive DC community!
