Teaching fractions doesn't have to be hard! 💡
Struggling to help your child or students understand the concept of fractions? Visual aids are a game-changer! 🌈
In this quick video, I’m breaking down how to use fraction strips (also known as fraction bars) to easily represent fractions.
We’ll cover:
How to visualize a "whole."
Identifying the denominator (the total number of parts).
Identifying the numerator (the part we shade).
These simple tools turn abstract numbers into clear, concrete concepts.
Give it a watch and try this method out with your learners!
Want to try this at home or in your classroom?
Click the link in my bio to download and print these fraction bars—and check out my other free math visual organizers while you're there! 📄✨
