We’re supporting Dogwood Charter School in the Pittsburgh region with a $350,000 revolving line of credit to help the school put its CSP grant resources to work for students and families!

Built around the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy, Dogwood emphasizes curiosity, relationships, hands-on learning, and educating the whole child. The financing will support the school’s continued growth as it adds a grade level each year and works toward its long-term K-12 vision.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of those who stepped forward to help.

In the days that followed, communities came together. Neighbors cared for neighbors. Strangers showed up for strangers. In the midst of unimaginable loss, we were reminded of the strength we find in one another.

Twenty-five years later, may we never forget not only what happened that day, but the compassion, courage, and unity that carried our communities forward.

When The Central Academy of Arts and Technology needed additional space, Building Hope Real Estate helped transform more than 10,000 square feet into a new learning environment. And in just 21 days!

The approximately $800,000 project delivered seven new classrooms, building improvements, and a new outdoor play space. The result was more room for CAAT’s growing arts, technology, and college-prep programs.

We are proud to continue our partnership with Spring Creek Charter School in Paisley, Florida, with a new working capital loan supporting the school’s continued financial stability and day-to-day operations!

Serving more than 600 students in grades Pre-K through 8, Spring Creek has been a trusted part of the Lake County community for nearly three decades. We previously supported the school’s facility expansion, helping accommodate growing enrollment and demand from local families.

On Friday, Building Hope joined Independence Classical Academy in Fort Pierce, FL, to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of its new Upper School campus, a milestone made possible by strong partnership, thoughtful planning, and a shared commitment to creating more opportunities for students.

The new campus marks the first phase of ICA’s 61,000-square-foot expansion, adding more than 250 seats for grades 6–12 and new spaces for athletics, debate, entrepreneurship, outdoor education, and hands-on learning.

For the Building Hope Real Estate team, this is what the work is all about: helping great schools turn their vision into facilities that support their mission, their students, and their future growth.

We are proud to announce the closing of a loan of up to $5 million for Goucher Charter Academy in Gaffney, South Carolina, supporting the acquisition, renovation, and expansion of the school’s permanent campus!

Since opening its doors in 2023, Goucher has grown from 137 students to more than 320, creating growing demand for its unique K-8 model that integrates academics, leadership, character development, and Scouting America.

This financing will help Goucher transition from a leased facility to a permanent home that will serve approximately 380 students. We’re proud to continue our support of Goucher as it grows and expands educational opportunities for students and families across Cherokee County.

What does it really take to build a charter school?

At NCAPSC, attendees didn't just hear about the process, they experienced it.

Our interactive session, "So You Want to Build a Charter School," challenged participants to navigate the real-world decisions, tradeoffs, and unexpected obstacles that schools face through a hands-on board game experience.

From securing facilities and financing to assembling the right team and overcoming operational challenges, the game sparked thoughtful conversations, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for what it takes to bring a school from vision to reality.
