Washington Elementary

While a great time was had by all, it’s quite possible Mrs Hepner had the best time of all. Congratulations to 1st grade for winning the Fun Run Slime Mrs Hepner Challenge!

Way to go, Eva Rose! We are so proud of you!

One week left to buy your Butter Braids. All proceeds are directly used to support the acts of Kindness Squad and Student Council!

Even in the rain, Washington Student Council and friends march on for the RHS Homecoming Parade!

This week, Kindness Squad welcomed our new staff with a small gift and all new students with a Bulldog Bag! We are so happy you are here!🐾❤️

✨📚 Once upon a time… our 2nd graders became the characters they’ve been reading about! 📚✨

Today was the perfect way to wrap up our CKLA Knowledge Unit on Fairy Tales & Tall Tales! Our students came dressed as their favorite fairy tale or tall tale characters - and they absolutely brought the stories to life! 🏰🧚‍♀️🤠📖

From princesses and magical animals to larger-than-life tall tale characters, we had quite the cast of characters in our classrooms today! ❤️

What a fun way to celebrate all the reading, learning, and storytelling we’ve been doing together! And they lived happily ever after… at least until Monday! 😉📚

🎉 LEGO CLUB REGISTRATION UPDATE! 🎉

Wow! We are completely blown away by the excitement for LEGO Club! ❤️💛💚💙

Registration is now officially CLOSED, and we are no longer accepting registration forms. Please do not send in any additional forms.

We received more than DOUBLE the number of registrations we are able to accommodate, so we are working hard to come up with a fair way to make LEGO Club happen for as many students as possible.

If you have already turned in a registration form, please stay tuned! We will share more information as soon as we have a plan in place.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and incredible enthusiasm for LEGO Club! 🧱💙❤️💛💚

We promise - we’re working on it! 😊

Mrs Farkas strikes again! Thank you for the Friday morning “Cup of Ambition” to spread smiles and end the week!

4th Grade is working on playing “Old Town Road” on the Resonator Bells. So many skills are being used: teamwork, listening, reading notes and rhythms on the staff, transferring music to an instrument, and playing with proper technique.

Kindergarten and Y5 had a day full of fun despite the power being out. They got some flash lights and made shadow puppets. Then they used the flashlights to find things that were different colors and shapes!
