From $900-$1000 Per Month to $24-26

Check Out the results from a Midwest Solar Installers commercial customer.

Before Solar, a month with around 5,000kwh of electricity usage could mean $900-$1,000 going to the utility.

After investing in solar, look at these results.

Total for 6 months is $151.93 TOTAL

What’s more impressive is the $2800 in net metering credits heading into the fall and winter.

This business had a summer full of $24–$26 bills.

Real business. Real bills. Real results.

If you’re a business owner, what would you do with a $33.45 electricity bill for an entire month?

If you don’t have a bill that low, then what are you doing? 👀

Happy National Daughters Day!

Every day is a daughter day in my book, and I feel pretty lucky and incredibly blessed to have such a great group of girls in my life.

☀️ Solar is coming to Leon, Iowa! 🇺🇸

Fun Leon fact: back in the day, the county records were actually moved by ox-drawn wagon in the middle of the night during a dispute over the county seat! 🐂🌙

Leon also has a pretty unusual claim to fame: its annual rodeo has repeatedly been named Iowa’s Rodeo of the Year.

Another Iowa roof, another step toward energy independence. 💪☀️

☀️ Armstrong, Iowa — we’re putting some Iowa sunshine to work!

Fun fact: Armstrong was established along the railroad in the late 1800s and has a long history tied to agriculture and the surrounding rural community.

Another Iowa solar project underway! ☀️

Real results speak for themselves ☀️

After two years with solar, Randy says he hasn’t had an electric bill. A properly designed system can make a major difference in long-term energy costs—and this Iowa install is a great example.

Scientists warn rising energy demand from data centers puts Iowa at a 'fork in the road' 09/16/2026

Iowa may be approaching a turning point when it comes to energy.

Nearly 200 Iowa researchers recently released their 2026 climate statement, warning that peak electricity demand could rise by more than 30% over the next decade. “That’s huge,” said University of Iowa’s Jacqueline Dowling. “It’s like adding the power demand of another major metro area to the state.”

Iowa already generates more than 60% of its electricity from wind and solar, yet coal use increased by about 50% from 2024 to 2025.

Drake University’s Dave Courard-Hauri describes the moment as a choice: continue building on Iowa’s renewable energy progress, or shift back toward fossil-fuel plants and the climate, health, and cost risks associated with them.

The decisions made today will help determine what Iowa’s power grid, and our energy bills, look like for years to come.

Scientists warn rising energy demand from data centers puts Iowa at a 'fork in the road' Rather than investing in new gas plants and higher coal usage to scale up generation, the signatories of the 2026 Iowa Climate Statement are advocating for more wind and solar. They say renewable energy is critical for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting Iowans from air pollution and gl...
