NextGen Climate Waterloo

NextGen Climate is calling on candidates and elected officials to tackle climate change -- the defining issue of out time -- by producing a plan to power America with more that 50 percent clean and carbon-free energy by 2030, putting us on a pathway to 100% clean energy by 2050. The transition to clean electricity is urgently needed, technologically achievable, economically beneficial, and political popular. Here in Waterloo and Cedar Falls we take a holistic approach to follow this goal. We create spaces where we get the climate-change conversation going and, by partnering up with different organizations, we include in our conversations other issues that affect our communities and are in may ways related to climate change.
