🐾 Help Feed the Animals of ZooHome Shelter in Almaty! 🐾

Today, we are launching a fundraising campaign to support ZooHome Shelter, a sanctuary run by a dedicated family that has devoted years of their lives to rescuing animals in need.

Every day, they save abandoned, homeless, injured, and sick animals from the streets of Almaty, provide medical treatment, shelter, and lifelong care. They also rescue animals from petting zoos, giving them a second chance at a safe and dignified life.

Today, more than 700 rescued animals call ZooHome their home, including dogs, cats, raccoons, meerkats, and many others. These animals depend on daily care, medical support, and most importantly, food.

It costs approximately $150 every day just to feed the animals living at the shelter. For a privately run rescue, this is a significant and ongoing challenge.

❤️ We are now accepting donations on an ongoing basis to help provide food for the animals of ZooHome. No contribution is too small—every donation helps fill bowls and ensures that rescued animals receive the nutrition they need.

Every dollar makes a difference. Together, we can help hundreds of rescued animals receive the care and support they deserve.

Thank you for your kindness and support. 🐾❤️

There are several reasons why stray dogs may be aggressive:
1. Fear and protection – they often encounter cruelty and danger, so they perceive people or other animals as a threat.
2. Struggle for survival – competition for food, territory and safety makes them more wary and aggressive.
3. Lack of socialization – stray dogs are not used to interacting with people and do not know how to react properly.
4. Injuries and illnesses – pain or diseases such as rabies can cause aggressive behavior.
5. Pack instincts – in groups, they can protect their territory and react to threats collectively.

It is important to understand that aggression in stray dogs is a reaction to the environment, not their true nature. With care and the right approach, most of them can become friendly.
