Kennebec Valley Community Action Program

Yesterday and today, KVCAP had the opportunity to celebrate and thank our incredible drivers with an appreciation lunch!

Our drivers play such an important role in helping people stay connected to the services, resources, appointments, and opportunities they need every day. We are grateful for the dedication, care, and professionalism they bring to their work and to the communities we serve.

We were also pleased to have our partners from Penquis on hand to complete vehicle inspections and help support the continued safety of our transportation services.

A big thank you to our drivers for all that you do — and to Penquis- for being part of these appreciation days with us!

We are proud to announce that KVCAP is officially a 2026 Best Place to Work in Maine for the very first time!

This recognition, presented by the Maine State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, Best Companies Group and BridgeTower Media, celebrates workplaces that prioritize culture, growth, and community.

“Being named one of the Best Places to Work in Maine is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices of our employees. KVCAP’s strength has always been our people. Their commitment to our mission, our communities, and one another. I’m incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built together and of the employees who make KVCAP such a special place to work,” said Suzanne Walsh, KVCAP CEO.

To every single member of the KVCAP family: thank you for making our workplace extraordinary!
