Blue Print headed to Bermuda for the first time for its Board of Directors Meeting, bringing together 109 attendees and welcoming 14 new members to the group.

Putting safety first was a highlight of the meeting, with 20 awards presented to recognize companies that kept claims low relative to their investment in the program. Their results reflect the year-round work that goes into strong risk management.

Outside the boardroom, a catamaran sail and live music gave members time to enjoy Bermuda and get to know one another beyond their day-to-day roles.

Building Holmes for Habitat!

Volunteers from our Employee Benefits team rolled up their sleeves to help make homeownership a reality in Waukee! Our team supported Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and its mission to create affordable homeownership opportunities.

Thank you to our team members who shared their time and energy to help build a stronger community and give more families a place to call home.

QUEST brought 500+ attendees together for a Member Meeting filled with recognition, connection and plenty of entertainment.

The group presented 17 awards, including Rookie of the Year, Impact Award, Lowest Loss Ratio Award and Member of the Year Award, celebrating the contributions and results of members across the program.

Beyond the meeting, attendees enjoyed a performance by Benny & the Jets at House of Blues, cosmic golfing and sunglasses sponsored by Tokio Marine HCC. Member Advisory Committee members also headed out for a Duffy boat ride, while a live karaoke band brought extra energy to the awards dinner.

The stop-loss market is hardening, but the opportunity for well-managed captives is becoming even clearer.

As carriers respond to rising medical trends and increased claim activity with greater underwriting discipline and higher rates, employers are looking for greater stability and control. Initial carrier projections indicate that the traditional self-funded market could experience average fixed-cost increases of 20 percent or more.

Historically, ICS renewals have outperformed the traditional market by 4 to 6 percentage points on a block basis.

Landon Jones, Director of Underwriting, shares why strength in healthier numbers and a disciplined captive strategy can give employers an important advantage in the market ahead.

Team spirit was on full display as our team represented the Hawkeyes, Cyclones and a few other favorites ahead of the big game!

Hawkeye fans officially earned bragging rights this year, but no matter which colors we wore, it was a fun way to come together and celebrate Iowa’s favorite rivalry: the Cy-Hawk game!

Premier had plenty to celebrate at its Board of Directors Meeting, marking 10 years together and welcoming seven new members to the group.

With 153 attendees, the meeting was an opportunity to recognize the progress members are making. Twenty-four awards were presented for fewer claims and stronger performance, highlighting the impact of a continued commitment to smart risk management.

The celebration continued over dinner at Acre, where members had time to connect and reflect on the milestone.

Six ICS team members recently participated in the PLUS 2026 Brainery Capstone Presentations, showcasing what they have learned throughout the program and sharing fresh ideas with leaders and colleagues across Holmes Murphy.

We are proud of the knowledge, creativity and confidence each of them brought to their presentations. We cannot wait to see the impact they continue to make at ICS!

No soil? No problem.

Hydroponic farms grow plants using nutrient-rich water instead of soil. Our Risk Management team got a firsthand look while volunteering at WesleyLife, harvesting lettuce and planting seeds.

The visit was also a chance to practice something we promote throughout our captive community: building relationships by working alongside one another.
Shared experiences help build trust, open conversations, and create stronger teams. We’re glad we could grow those connections while giving back.

Southern Construction recently brought together 126 attendees at the JW Marriott Nashville for its Risk Control Workshop!

Throughout the week, members participated in trade roundtable discussions focused on industry challenges, shared experiences and best practices. Dave Mitchell also joined the group to present “The Power of Understanding People: Hollywood Style.”

The learning continued beyond the workshop with two evenings of live music from local musicians Kaylin Kole and Matt Burke, along with an evening event at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville. With guests included, nearly 170 people joined in the evening activities!

PEAK’s recent Member Meeting brought members and partners together to exchange perspectives, strengthen connections and recognize accomplishments across the group.

The meeting featured insights from team members at trudataRx, FedLogic, QBE, LaForce and Wixon, along with a panel from Arc3. The conversations continued beyond the sessions, with a welcome reception at the hotel and an awards dinner at Lux Bar providing time to connect and celebrate member achievements.

These opportunities to learn from one another and build relationships are an important part of the captive experience.
