Found Abilities

A great day at Foundabilities, today! Rudy took his son Rudy, Matt, and Sebi to deliver combs and pick up more. Pac-A-News was sealed, labeled and counted, Corner Brackets were assembled and checked. People donating documents continued so that we could shred them, like we enjoy every day. New and old combs were bagged, sealed and counted. Our garbage pickup came today, so we could watch the operation. Then, Andrew, our new client, surprised us while playing the piano for us! We enjoyed it greatly, impressed with his photographic memory, he retains of music he has at home! Aileen and Joe came and kept things going smoothly. Aileen reminded me to post that next week Thursday evening, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐎 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝟕:𝟎𝟎𝐏𝐌! 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠! 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭! Have a great weekend!

A great beauitful fall day at Foundabilities. A 1951 Ford Pickup brought us shredding and a donation! Dan and Rich began cleaning and clearing the garden. Susan filled our soda machine with lots of soda, as it was very empty. Students came with their Paraprofessionals from Wayne Valley High School. Combs were packaged, Corner Brackets were assembled, and paper was shredded. The best news was our support from our Fundraiser at Chipotle on the Hamburg Turnpike, $186.69! Thank you everyone who participated! See you all on Friday!

Foundabilities 5th Annual PASTA DINNER last night! 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐣𝐨𝐛, 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡! And there were so many wonderful Tricky Tray Items! Many who came went home with fantastic gifts! Thank You too everyone who came and went home happy! ❤❤❤

Today was busy and fun too! We all are thinking about the Pasta Dinner and Tricky Tray! We gave everyone their ticket, and brought in Tricky Tray items, desserts, plates, cups, utensils, soda, water and even more shredding paper! Lots of combs were packaged and corner brackets were checked and corrected. Friday will be a great day, we hope everyone is hungry and happy for our big Friday Fundraiser Event Pasta Dinner at the PAL at 6:00! We hope you all come! There still are tickets availible!

Today was a somber day, as we all reflected and remembered our dear friend Franc, who has passed away. Many offered condolences particularly to Danielle and Michele, but also to each other. There were hugs and tears, but the comfort of all of our dear friends made our smiles return. We continued working together, and it was a good day after all. We hope to see each other soon!
