We get asked why we keep inviting The Bishops back.

Truthfully, they're exactly what we hoped live music at Off Elm would feel like.

Daniel and Matthew are wonderful musicians, but they're also just genuinely good people. Their music is thoughtful, the energy is easy. Somehow they've found that sweet spot where you can hang on every note or lose track of time in a great conversation.

That's what we were after.

One last big week of international soccer at Off Elm.

We’re staying open later, opening earlier, and making sure there’s a seat at the bar for the final matches. Here’s this week’s hours.

Then, once the final whistle blows, a new tradition begins: Off Elm will be open every Sunday from 4–10pm.

If you’ve spent any time at our bar, you’ve probably met Jenny, Shift Lead at Off Elm.

She’s the kind of person who makes people feel welcome the minute they walk in - and the kind who won’t let anyone get away with acting a fool.

We’d follow her lead any day.

“What should I get?” is one of our favorite questions. Lately, we’ve been pointing people towards these two:

🍓 Barn Cat (left): Gin, ginger, rhubarb, strawberry & lemon. Bright, citrusy, with a gentle kick from the ginger.

🥒 Think McFly (right): Cucumber, lemon & strawberry gin, rossa vermouth, maraschino & tiki bitters. Cool, botanical, and just a little savory around the edges.

The Bishops are back.

Father/son duo, Daniel and Matthew Bishop return to Off Elm next Wednesday (7/15) with live music from 5:30-8:30pm.

Their thoughtful mix of familiar songs, acoustic arrangements, and easy rhythm has made these nights a favorite around here. If you’ve joined us before, you know exactly what we mean.

If not, we’d love to have you.

We aren’t usually open on Mondays, but today, for Team USA, we’re making an exception.
