Unity United Methodist Church- Webster Groves

As many of you know, last Saturday, the new actor who will portray the Black Panther was announced. Knowing that it was happening soon, three weeks ago, we began an exciting sermon series inspired by Chadwick Bozeman, entitled “A HIGHER PURPOSE.” In it, we explore how his life and work reflect biblical principles that we are called to live by. Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am. at Unity UMC as we continue this series. We hope to broadcast our service live on social media soon.

It's that time. Once again, the United Methodist Men are hosting their annual Spring Fish Fry. This year it will be held on Saturday, March 14th, from 11am until all the fish are gone. You are welcome to dine in and fellowship or take it to go.

March is Women's History Month, and to commemorate it, Unity UMC will again present our sermon series, "Hidden Figures: Celebrating Women in the Bible." Each Sunday, we will have a dynamic preacher bringing the word. This Sunday, March 8th, Rev. Violet Ewell, a retired pastor who now serves as Associate Minister at Wayman African Methodist Episcopal Church (St. Louis, MO), will be the guest preacher. As always, service begins @ 9:30 am. Come out and be blessed.

Greetings, community. Because of the winter storm, in-person service tomorrow, January 25th, is canceled. However, we will have service virtually via Zoom. at our usual 9:30 am time. The link is below. Please feel free to send your gifts, tithes, and offerings through Givelify, Zelle, or by mail to our address. Join Zoom Meeting

Come and worship with us this Sunday as we celebrate Epiphany and Holy Communion. The Focal scripture is Matthew 6:33, and we'll explore how the Magi recognized the importance of seeking Christ long before he spoke on this subject. As always, service begins at 9:30am. Come, let us ride together as the Magi did.
