We're hitting the road again today, and when the kids found out it was only a four hour drive they said, "oh, that’s nothing."
When we first started full-time traveling (11 months ago!), four hours was our MAX travel time in a day. Now, it's an "easy" day for us.
We also used to think other cities such as Richmond, Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Cincinnati, etc were large cities. But that was until we actually visited them. Now, they seen small in comparison to DFW and Houston.
I (Misty) was slightly apprehensive about driving through the larger cities, but since driving through the downtowns of several of these cities, they just don't compare to the traffic insanity that is back home 😅 (except for ATL and Chicago. Stay AWAY from that traffic, lol.)
Those are just a few of the many perspective shifts we've had since hitting the road.
What's your family's max travel time in a day? Or do you have one? What does an "easy" travel day look like? What's the largest city you've ever driven through?

Travel Update:
We're currently bouncing around in Indiana and doing alllllll the work things.
Jeremy is hauling Mondays through Thursdays while Misty works on the third book in her series. Weekends are for fun and fellowship.
It doesn’t sound all that amazing, but we are loving every minute of it! Out of all the places we've been, Indiana feels the most like home.
