Post about my journey so far:
When I first found out I had diabetes, I was honestly scared and determined to make a change. My doctor recommended medication, but before going that route, I wanted to challenge myself and see what I could do by changing my lifestyle.
One thing I personally believe in is fasting. When I first got the news, I actually fasted for 9 days because I truly felt like I needed a reset and wanted to take my health seriously. Since then, for the last 3 months, I’ve been focused on eating better, staying disciplined, and being more intentional with what I put into my body.
It hasn’t been easy, but I stayed consistent. And honestly, I feel good. More energy, healthier, and better than I’ve felt in a long time.
Now it’s time to get my blood work done. I believe the body is powerful and can do amazing things when we take care of it. I’m excited—and honestly a little nervous—to see the results. No matter what, I’m proud of how far I’ve come 💪
