Owners of longtime West Springfield optician will retire this summer After 60 years of calling their business “The Best in Sight,” Russo Opticians Inc. will close at the end of July.
What is presbyopia? It refers to the eye’s inability to properly focus on objects that are in close viewing range. Presbyopia or farsightedness is a natural, non-threatening condition that many people develop as they age.
We recognize that some people who need glasses to see properly will be resistant to wearing them if they’ve had a bad experience with their prescription before. In many cases, working with a more skilled optician can help you to get a better fit for your lenses.
Lenses that are anti-reflective reduce glare from various light sources and makes all of your activities that much more enjoyable. If you work at a computer or drive a car or truck at night, and you wear glasses, anti-reflective protection can help you see the light without the glare.
