Myself and BRZOWSKI are coming to 🇯🇵 Japan Oct 1nd-12th. We have the first weekend booked. 2, maybe 3 shows. We will be in Kyoto and Osaka with Keisuke Hirabayashi (Senbyo) and Osaka with MC Gebo.

We are looking for shows in other cities. Primarily Tokyo but any others available via train.

We are both veteran performers and crush mics.

Open to any style venue.

Quick update, as I haven't touched base with the Facebook peeps in a minute.

Been working on a bunch of stuff. This is mural season, so I've been pretty focused on this. As well as the work I do with aerial phenomenon in Toronto, as a member of MUFON.

But I am recording my next solo project (rerecording several tracks on a TLM 103) and are planning a 4-5 date tour in Japan in Oct with BRZOWSKI

I have written around a dozen short stories over the past couple years. Most of them, an accompanying story for world building around a particular work. There are 8 in particular that I think are ok. I'm gonna post all 8 over the next couple months. The image is photo clips, as they are printed up to be edited soon. The first one is:

Is Nicholas De Kok the People's Artist? Creating Art Is The Closest Thing To Magic That I Have Experienced In My Life. A Meditative Flow-state I Enter While Writing / Painting.

Its been a minute since Ive updated ya'll on my music here.

I am still working on my solo album, which is half done. I am writing more narrative; topic driven songs on this record and it takes me time to get it to sound how I want. I have 5 more tracks to go.

I have applied for a grant through FACTOR and am hoping to receive assistance with the manufacturing and promotion of this record (help pay for flights and vinyl). If I receive it, I will be adding California to the tour this coming fall.

I am returning to Japan for my 2nd tour there in Oct, regardless of the grants outcome. This time we hope to perform in Tokyo as well as Kyoto & Osaka. I will be joined by the OG BRZOWSKI on this one.

I have started sampling from vinyl again and its been dope to dig and get back into beat production.
