Non-profit Foundation granting bucket list dreams to young adults with life limiting illness.

09/25/2026

Yesterday, we swung big. Today, we celebrate the reason behind it all. ⛳️💚

On World Dream Day, we’re still smiling about an incredible Sol Flower Classic and feeling so grateful for every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, friend, and supporter who showed up to help us keep dreams moving forward.

Because for Project Sol Flower, dreams aren’t just something we talk about. They’re the trips, experiences, surprises, comforts, and moments of joy we get to create for young adults facing cancer and life-limiting illness.

Yesterday was a perfect reminder of what can happen when a whole lot of people come together around that mission.

Thank you for swinging big, dreaming bigger, and making this work possible.

On World Gratitude Day, we’re feeling extra grateful for this community. 🌻

For our Dreamers, and the chance to be part of their stories and bring a little more joy along the way. 💜

For the families, friends, donors, sponsors and volunteers who make this work possible.💛

And for everyone who follows along, shows up, gives, shares and cheers us on.💜

You keep Project Sol Flower going — and today feels like a pretty good day to say thank you. 💛💜🌻

At the Sol Flower Classic, the winning team won’t receive a green jacket.

They’ll receive a green bow tie. 💚⛳

Ryan was a SigEp at the University of Kansas, and one of his favorite date parties was Boxers & Bow Ties. He loved the party and would text a selfie in his bow tie before heading out. This photo was from the last party he attended.

After Ryan passed, his family had to decide what he would be cremated in. The answer eventually felt obvious: one of his nicest button-downs, a pair of boxers and a bow tie.

Ryan’s favorite color was green, and over time the green bow tie has become one of the ways his family continues to honor him. Swipe for a photo of his brother Ayden Austin in a green bow tie, with golf balls and his brother’s name.

On September 24, when the champions of the Sol Flower Classic are crowned, they’ll each receive a custom green bow tie featuring tiny golf balls and the Project Sol Flower logo.

It’s a nod to Ryan, a tradition with a story behind it, and a fitting way to celebrate the team that comes out on top.

Swing Big & Dream Bigger. 🌻💚🏌️‍♀️

Meet Dreamer Kat 🌻💜

Tomorrow’s monthly Dream Drop is all about Kat — her story, what she’s navigating right now, and the thoughtful dream Project Sol Flower created around the things that matter most to her.

Her dream is also a reminder that a Bucket List Dream doesn’t have to mean a splashy trip or a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Sometimes it looks like feeling a little more supported day to day, having the right tools to keep creating, and making space for the things that still bring you joy.

Want to learn more about Kat and her Dream? Make sure you’re on our email list before tomorrow’s Dream Drop lands. 🌻

Happy Birthday, Jonah! 🥳

When Jonah first came to Project Sol Flower in 2023, we had the chance to help make his and Falen’s new place feel like home with a home makeover created just for them.

When he required additional treatment in 2026, we were grateful to be able to support him again — this time with an Airbnb close to treatment, grocery gift cards, a game controller and a few things to make that month a little easier.

That’s one of the things we love most about the relationships we build with our Dreamers. The support may look different over time, but the connection remains.

Happy Birthday, Jonah. We’re sending you lots of love today and are so grateful to have you as part of the Sol Flower family. 💛🌻

Once a Dreamer, always a Dreamer.

Happy Birthday to Dreamer Cameron!🥳

We are so excited to sent Cameron, his best friend and both of their girlfriends to F1 in Vegas this November. It’s a true bucket list dream for this car enthusiast!

Cameron had a chance to experience the thrill of the track at this year’s Automezzi Colorado in the F1 simulator. Swipe to see Cameron behind the wheel! 👉

Wishing Cameron a very happy birthday today! 🌻💜

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️

Kaydee was diagnosed with cancer at 17, when she still had access to pediatric resources and wish-granting organizations created for children.

Then she turned 18.

Her cancer didn’t change — but many of those resources did.

That gap became deeply personal to Kaydee and helped inspire Project Sol Flower. She became passionate about creating a foundation to support young adults, ages 18–26, facing cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.

Because cancer doesn’t care how old you are — and support shouldn’t disappear when you age out.

That’s the gap Project Sol Flower was created to help fill. 🌻💜

Happy Birthday, Dreamer Gustavo. 💛

Dreams don’t always have to be big, splashy adventures to make a profound difference.

For Gustavo, his Bucket List Dream was adaptive equipment designed to make everyday life easier — and the impact was extraordinary. It improved his quality of life so significantly that Children’s Hospital Colorado later shared his experience as part of a national presentation.

That’s something we love about the dreams we grant: they’re as individual as the Dreamers themselves. Sometimes a dream is a trip or an unforgettable experience. And sometimes, it’s something that changes the way you experience every single day.

Today, we’re celebrating Gustavo and the reminder that impact can come in so many forms. 🌻

Happy Birthday, Gustavo!
