The written quote.

Every estimate leaves you with a piece of paper: which windows, which film, what it costs, in writing. You can compare it, sleep on it, show it to whoever you show things to.

No "call for pricing." No number that changes when you call back.

The south-facing bedroom that wakes you up at 6.

Film takes the edge off the morning glare and the afternoon heat. It's not blackout; you'll still know it's morning. It's the difference between a room that's bright and a room that's blinding.

Pair it with your existing shades and you've got both.

Know someone who's tried three sets of curtains? Send them this.

The purple, bubbling window tint you remember is not what goes on houses now.

That was cheap dyed film, usually on a car, usually from years ago. Home film today is a different product: it's built to stay clear and stay put, and it's chosen to match your glass.

We'll tell you exactly which film goes on your windows and why, before we install anything.

What we won't do.

We won't put film on glass that shouldn't have it. We won't tell you the whole house needs it when it's two windows. We won't sit at your table until you sign.

We'll look at the glass, tell you which windows are worth it, and put the number in writing. You decide on your own time.

That's the estimate. It's free.

Blinds, curtains, or film.

Blinds block the view and the light. Curtains block the view and the light and collect dust. Both are down by 2 PM every day from May to September.

Film stays on the glass, keeps the view, keeps the daylight, cuts the heat, glare, and UV. You don't touch it again.

Different jobs. Most houses end up with film on the sun side and blinds where they want to darken a room.

Know someone who's replaced the same blinds twice? Send them this.

The things you keep away from the window.

The guitar. The painting. The w**e rack. The leather chair you moved twice.

You arranged the room around the sun. Film lets you arrange it the way you wanted. Up to 99% of the UV stays outside.

Know someone who's been playing furniture chess with the sun? Send them this.

The dog's favorite spot is the hottest spot in the house.

That patch of sun by the slider is also where the UV lands all afternoon. Film keeps the spot, cuts the heat and blocks up to 99% of the UV. The dog will still find it.

Know someone whose dog owns the west window? Send them this.

"How long does it take?"

Most homes: one visit. You don't move out, you don't clear the room, we work window by window.

What to expect after: a little haze or a few small water pockets for a few days while the film cures. That's normal and it clears on its own. We'll tell you exactly what's normal before we leave.

The sunroom nobody sits in after noon.

Big glass, great view, oven by 1 PM. Film on a sunroom or a wall of sliders is the difference between a room you use and a room you walk through.

You keep the view. You lose the oven.

We know Monday through Friday 9 to 5 doesn't work for everyone. Text us a Saturday morning and we'll come look at the glass while you're home.
