As we continue looking back on our 30th anniversary celebration, this one feels especially meaningful.

There are so many people who helped make the last 30 years possible, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of the Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing story.

Our celebration was also a chance to proudly send Scott into retirement and recognize the legacy he leaves behind: one built on hard work, strong relationships, and doing things the right way.

Now, it’s our turn to carry that legacy forward. We’re committed to continuing our vision of being the most trusted and sought-after waterproofing contractor.

And if you haven’t heard yet… Scott’s next chapter already has a name: the SSD Building Forward Foundation. The foundation will aim to support people in recovery who are pursuing careers in construction with wraparound resources and support.

More to come soon. 👀

No better way to start the day than with a quick visit to ACE Trades Day down at the CEF Building. Besides running into so many friends and great partners of the ACE program, we gathered some inspiration and are SO excited to participate next year.

Congrats to everyone who was a part of putting on this incredibly important event that shows high school students how cool it is to work in the trades! Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Our team got to enjoy some pretty incredible views (and visitors!) while staying in Basalt for the Aspen Lumberyard project with Deneuve Construction.

It’s not every day you get to build for the Aspen community and experience a place this beautiful along the way. Super appreciative for the opportunity and for the people who make projects like this happen!

Watching people stop and look through the photos—recognizing familiar projects, remembering old jobs, and sharing stories—made the wall more than just a collection of photos. It became a look back at how far we’ve come.

We’re grateful for every opportunity, partnership, and relationship that has shaped the last 30 years.

As this project takes shape, our work helps create a durable building envelope for the residents who will eventually call Rock Ridge home.
