Strong schools grow from strong communities.
Community schools are built on the belief that schools are stronger when families, educators, students, community partners and local leaders work together toward a shared vision. Community schools respond to the unique strengths and needs of each school community and create the conditions for every student and family to thrive.
The Rooted in Strength: Growing Community Schools Together Conference unites people from across Colorado and beyond together to learn, connect and grow the community schools movement.
Conference attendees will learn from thought leaders and explore best practices for implementing the Community Schools strategy.
This conference is designed for anyone who believes in the power of schools and communities working together.
We look forward to seeing you there!

🎉 Colorado PTA is thrilled to welcome Time to Play as a Community Partner for the 2026–27 school year!
Time to Play helps families build stronger connections by turning each grade into a self-running playdate community—making it easier for kids to enjoy low-key hangouts, plan one-on-one playdates, and form lifelong friendships without endless back-and-forth texting.
We’re incredibly grateful for their generous partnership and shared commitment to bringing families and communities together! 💙

✂️Cut income taxes for 97% of Coloradans
➕️Ask the wealthiest 3% to pay a little more
💲Generate approximately $2 billion annually for K–12 public schools, health care, and early childhood education

Today, we’re remembering Dolly Parton—an extraordinary artist, but also a tireless champion for children, literacy and education.
Yes, Dolly gave us unforgettable music. But her impact reaches far beyond the stage. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped put more than 325 million books into the hands of children around the world, inspiring a love of reading and helping families build a foundation for learning.
Her music may be her legacy, but so are the millions of children who grew up with a book in their hands because of her.
Dolly’s belief in the power of children, books and education will continue to inspire generations to come.
