Felisha and Bree are bringing a little carnival to Country Cafe!

Meet our Funnel “Carni” Cake — a classic yellow cake covered in cream cheese & cinnamon frosting, then topped with crushed funnel cake. And when we slice it up, every piece gets a fresh dusting of powdered sugar.

It’s basically the county fair in cake form — without the long lines and questionable carnival rides.

Now we need y’all’s help…

What carnival favorite should inspire our NEXT cake?

Fried Oreos? Caramel apples? Cotton candy? Something completely off the wall?

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WEDNESDAY

This week, we want to shine a spotlight on the Lake Whitney Veterans Center of Resources and the work they do for veterans and their families right here in our community.

Whether a veteran needs help finding resources, has questions, needs a little guidance, or simply wants someone to sit down and talk with, Donna is always willing to help out.

We’re also excited to have the Lake Whitney Veterans Center of Resources joining us for our next Veterans Breakfast on Monday, September 7, at Country Cafe.

Donna will be there and available to visit with any veteran who needs assistance, has questions, wants information about available resources, or just wants to talk. You don’t have to be facing a crisis to reach out—sometimes it just helps to know someone is there and willing to listen.

We appreciate Donna and the Lake Whitney Veterans Center of Resources for what they do for the men and women who served our country.

And to our veterans: you served us. It’s our privilege to serve you.
