Paws Place Rescue Inc. is an independent, private rescue. We are not affiliated with any individual, group, or organization that operates on a “who you know” mentality within our town or county.

We do not participate in cliques, favoritism, or actions that create division within our community.

We respectfully ask that our rescue’s name be removed from any association with individuals or organizations whose actions do not align with our mission and values.

Additionally, we kindly request that the 50% of proceeds originally designated for Paws Place Rescue Inc. be donated instead to the Whitney VFD. We believe those funds can serve a meaningful purpose in supporting those who protect our community.

Our purpose is animal welfare, not politics, popularity, or personal agendas. We choose to remain focused on the animals.🐾

As many of you know, transparency has always been important to us. Since opening, Paws Place Rescue Inc. has maintained a partnership with a rescue in El Paso, Tx. Second Sunrise Rescue, that primarily works with small-breed dogs.

Through this partnership, we occasionally transfer some of our larger dogs who have been waiting longer for homes. A different location and a new audience can give them another opportunity to be seen and adopted. In return, we welcome small-breed dogs from their rescue and help them find loving homes here.

During the first week of October, we will be completing another rescue transfer and these sweet little faces will be our newest intakes! ❤️🐾

Every transfer is about giving deserving animals a fresh opportunity in a different environment while responsible rescues work together toward the same goal: finding safe, loving, forever homes.

One of our favorite White Bluff residents is officially a new momma! We couldn’t be happier for this precious kitten and his new hooman. 🥰

At Paws Place Rescue, our responsibility doesn’t end when a kitten goes home. If a kitten is adopted before being spayed or neutered, we remain responsible for ensuring the procedure and complete veterinary care are provided while they enjoy life with their new family.

Our goal has always been to find the very best homes for our rescues, and trust us, this little orange furball has found his! 🏡❤️
