Drumroll, please... We are announcing the Fall 2024 AE Airbus Wingbox Winners! Congrats to the winning teams!

We are excited that the WSU Department of Aerospace Engineering will be participating in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Engineering Expo this spring. SWE Engineering Expo offers hands-on STEM activities for kids in grades K-8 and local organizations and industry support activities. This year’s expo will be on Saturday, April 5, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, at Century II Expo Hall in downtown Wichita. We are asking for volunteers for three hours on Saturday, April 5, to help the attendees with the projects we are offering which focus on moon phases and orbits. Time options for volunteering are 9:00 AM - Noon and Noon - 3:00 PM. Please contact Linda Kliment, [email protected], if you are interested in volunteering.

College of Engineering PhD students - Save the dates (March 26-28) and RSVP today! Meet and ask the Deans of the College about common critical challenges you will face in graduate school. This event provides PhD students with a platform to discuss critical challenges in graduate school, including funding, career development, and overall graduate experiences, with Dean Muscat and Associate Dean Mahapatro. The event is only for Engineering PhD students. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
