Your training needs are unique. We are unique. We believe the methods used to create your solution should be equally unique. We are Exeter. How do we do this?

Exeter Design Group, LLC is a full-service Instructional Design company offering state of the art training solutions for your company's training needs. The vision for Exeter Design Group originated with founders Dennis Hammers and Jeff VonFeldt while they were cohorts in graduate school at Emporia State University. However, while both Dennis and Jeff are proud of their creative and instructional design skills, there was one thing that they were lacking –sales experience. Jeff soon discovered Tony Collins, an individual whose background includes not only education but also, sales. The circle was now complete and in 2017, Exeter Design Group was established as a Limited Liability Company registered in the state of Kansas, with the fundamental goal of providing superior customer service and quality solutions to your training and eLearning needs. Our combined backgrounds give us the expertise to take your project from start to finish with 100 percent satisfaction. We accomplish this by dedicating all our resources to your needs. In essence, Exeter becomes an extension of your company. Exeter has a unique business perspective whereas, we believe that quality service and a superior product is achieved by only working on one project at a time; it is like a quality handcrafted musical instrument or a custom automobile built specifically to your specifications. We don’t believe in a “mass-production” approach when it comes to your training needs and objectives. Since each company’s training needs are unique, we believe the methods used to create your solution should be equally unique.

This problem is not just limited to the navy. As instructional designers, we must be vigilant when designing course content as to keep from overloading the learner. Courses need to be designed in such a way so that the learner can absorb the information without information overload. I think micro-learning is one possible solution.
