ColorFaux Creations is honored to donate a custom mahjong table as a raffle prize for Simply Hygiene's "Mahj for a Cause" ladies' event this Friday, September 11th, at the Wichita Country Club. Miss Mahjong is also generously donating the coordinating mat and tile set. The table was specifically designed and refinished to complement the colors and details of the Miss Mahjong mat and tiles, bringing all of the pieces together beautifully.

Mahj for a Cause is sure to be a fabulous afternoon filled with food, drinks, Mahjong, prizes, raffles, friendship, and plenty of fun, all while supporting Simply Hygiene’s mission to provide diapers to families and individuals in need throughout our community. I am so grateful to be a small part of an event that brings women together for a meaningful cause and makes a positive difference right here at home.

Every custom finish begins with a vision. For this powder bath in a beautiful custom home built by Fahsholtz Construction in the Province neighborhood, the homeowners wanted a feature wall that would complement a piece of artwork they had selected for the space, creating a cohesive and intentional design.

This finish was built in four carefully layered applications. The first layer established the movement and subtle sheen, laying the foundation for the finished look. The real artistry came in the third layer, where three different plasters were combined in a single application to create depth, texture, and dimension. A final clear shimmer coat brought everything together, catching the light and adding the perfect finishing touch. It's always rewarding to create a finish that not only stands beautifully on its own but also enhances the entire space.
