💜 Mental Health Monday™

September is National Su***de Prevention Month—a time to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, remember those we have lost, and remind those who may be struggling that hope and support are available.
As a proud community partner of Wichita State University’s Suspenders4Hope, The A.R.T. Project was honored to show up for 2026 Hope Fest on the Wichita State University campus.
We had the opportunity to connect with our community, fellow organizations and vendors, survivors, and families and friends whose lives have been impacted by su***de.
This is what A.R.T. — Aware • Reach • Teach is about.
đź’š Creating awareness.
đź’š Reaching people where they are.
đź’š Teaching that conversations about mental health and su***de can save lives.
Whether you have struggled yourself, supported someone through a difficult time, or lost someone you love to su***de—your story matters, your presence matters, and you are not alone.

Lend a Hand. Be a Voice. Save a Life.

Mental Health Monday™

You never know who your journey is preparing you to meet.

The other day, I took what I thought was simply a business call. During our conversation, I learned that the person on the other end knew my cousin, Arthur Gary—the very person whose life and legacy inspired The A.R.T. Project.

It was an unexpected reminder that some connections aren't coincidence.

Sometimes life places people in our path to remind us why we started, to encourage us to keep going, or to confirm that we're walking in the purpose God has placed on our lives.

Purpose doesn't always reveal itself through grand moments. Sometimes it shows up in an ordinary conversation that becomes an extraordinary reminder.

As we recognize Mental Health Monday, remember that healing, hope, and purpose are often found through the connections we make with one another. Never underestimate the impact of your story—or the possibility that your path may be encouraging someone else's.

đź’¬ Reflection Question:
Have you ever experienced a connection that reminded you you were exactly where you were meant to be?

Purpose has a way of connecting the right people at the right time. Keep walking—you never know who is waiting on the other side of your next step."💚

Real question…
What does mental wellness actually look like to you?

Join the Conversation: Mental Wellness & Su***de Prevention

I’m looking to put together a community conversation and training around mental wellness and su***de prevention through The A.R.T. Project.
This is something that matters deeply to me, and I know a lot of people have been impacted by it in one way or another.
Right now, I’m looking for a few like-minded people who believe in the mission, may want to help support the event, or are open to sharing their perspective or story in a meaningful way.
If this speaks to you, comment below or message me directly.
Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to make a difference.

Real question…

What does mental wellness actually look like to you?

Not the textbook answer.
Not the “I’m good” response.
But the real version.

What does mental wellness truly look like in your life right now?
