🎨 It’s and West High artists are showing OUT!

A HUGE congratulations to West High graphic design teacher Ms. (McQueary) Davis, whose solo exhibition, Form and Color, opens tonight at Harvester Arts.

Our students are showing at Harvester Arts, too! 🤩

West High seniors Lindsey Kelley and Diana “Cruz” Velazquez-Cruz have work featured in WSU ShiftSpace gallery's Extra Credit, an exhibition celebrating the artistic connection between educators and their students. Their work is exhibited alongside a painting by West High drawing and painting teacher Mr. Goon.

You can also find a painting by Mr. Goon in the group exhibition There’s No Place Like Home on the Harvester Arts Warped Wall.

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point will be hosting a Wichita Area Admissions Presentation at Wichita High School North at 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, in the North High Lecture Hall.

The event is geared toward students in grades 9–11 and is open to students throughout the Wichita metro area, as well as their parents and families.

During the presentation, representatives from West Point will cover what the Academy offers, what life is like as a Cadet, and the application and admissions process.

West High Instructional Coach Allison Stucky spent the afternoon as a guest artist at creativemindsict at Learning Lab Wichita, and based on the photographic evidence, this one might be too close to call.

Art was made. Buckets were filled. A VERY good afternoon was had. 🎨🪣💛

Families: Wichita Public Schools has an important school bond proposal coming up on the November 3 general election ballot. If you are not registered to vote, you must do so before October 13.
